@BlueTeamJK That being said, I agree that there is a lack of transparency for the end user on all the signature process. That's why we started displaying who signed our app in our About screen

@BlueTeamJK They also provide a tool (that we still have to implement on our side) allowing to check if the current installation has not been compromised by a third party. See developer.android.com/guide/app-bund…

@spokeek @videolan Everything about the signature and platforms is sumed up here: code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc-a… Google recently allowed to use the dual signing with TV support. Google signs for Android 11+ and legacy apks signed by us are provided for older devices
